Expected outcomes
After the primer, participants can:
- explain the roles of the main SDMx lab components and distinguish between them;
- navigate the SDMx lab and access its key applications;
- explain the role and basic user interface of FMR;
- find SDMx artefacts and trace their dependencies in FMR;
- describe how artefacts are created, modified, imported and exported;
- describe how data is validated and converted to other SDMx formats;
- identify the main elements of an FMR API call and adapt existing examples;
- select the appropriate SDMx lab component for a simple use case;
- use the provided resources for further self-directed learning. -

Pre-requisites & Recommended Preparation
As this is an intermediate to advanced technical event, participants are expected to have completed prior SDMx training before attending with familiarity of the SDMx Information Model essential. We strongly recommend completing relevant courses available through the SDMx Learning Resources (e.g. .Stat Academy), including introductory SDMx modules where appropriate. This preparation is vital to ensure you can fully engage with and benefit from the capacity-building sessions and hackathon activities.
